Full description

Simple and clever enclosure for the experimental study of carbon cycle-based exchanges:

- Atmosphere - hydrosphere relations (Dissolution / Venting)

- Atmosphere - biosphere relations (Respiration / photosynthesis)

- Atmosphere - human activities relations (pollution, CO discharge2 by combustion, etc.)

The carbon cycle enclosure provides you with a full, encouraging and easy to use investigation tool.

The different CO2 exchange issues may be dealt with by different pairs to ultimately build the carbon cycle using a collaborative method:

- Thanks to the CO2 probe, by introducing CO2 rich air (exhaled air) via the syringe into the enclosure full of water, it is easy to highlight the CO2 dissolution in the water by monitoring its reduction in the airborne part.

- Conversely, using CO2 rich water will highlight the CO2 venting into the atmosphere.

- If there are leaves or flowers present, the respiratory and photosynthetic exchange measurement enables the relationship between atmosphere and biosphere to be discussed.

- The influence of human activities in enhancing the atmosphere with CO2 is also simple and quick to illustrate by introducing into the enclosure air sampled near an exhause pipe or the flame of a candle.
